More c-suite changes at Suncorp
Changes in the executive ranks at Suncorp keep coming. Chief information officer Sarah Harland will leave the company at the end of this month.Harland joined Suncorp in 2016, taking responsibility for digital enablement, cloud and infrastructure, security services, data and innovation labs.Darren Abbruzzese, Suncorp's executive general manager digital, labs and insurance technology, will act as CIO while the company conducts an executive search.There has been plenty of change at the top since Steve Johnston took over as Suncorp chief executive last September.In October, banking and wealth chief executive David Carter announced his departure to take over as CEO at the Queensland motoring body RACQ.In the same month, group general counsel Belinda Speirs joined the senior leadership team reporting directly to Johnston. She also took on the company secretary role.In December, Lee Hatton was appointed chief executive officer of the group's banking and wealth division. Hatton came from UBank, where she had been CEO since 2015.In the same month, Jeremy Robson, who has been at Suncorp since 2013, was appointed chief financial officer.
