Moss sells down Macquarie holding
Invited fund managers enjoyed an old-style, closed-door briefing from the chief executive and chief financial officer of Macquarie Group yesterday (or so the Financial Review reported), though it didn't make much difference to the slump in the bank's share price, which still finished 23 per cent lower on the day.One shareholder who has steadily reduced his holding in Macquarie is the former managing director, Allan Moss. The Herald Sun reported Moss has offloaded 323,000 shares in Macquarie Group over the past four months. The newspaper reported the shares were previously held by two family trusts associated with Mr Moss, known as Febonno Pty Limited and Koda Pty Limited.Moss continues to hold 81,000 ordinary shares in Macquarie, the newspaper reported.
