NAB and CBA flop on business lending
The stance on business lending of major banks is positioned differently to their home loan portfolios, with stark differences in each bank's standing relative to "system".Westpac is the tear away on business lending, up 10.6 per cent over the year to August 2014 and more than double the growth for all banks of five per cent.National Australia Bank, by contrast, reported tepid growth on this side of its business of only 0.2 per cent over a year.Commonwealth Bank reported growth of an equally dull 0.8 per cent, while ANZ bettered system at 7.3 per cent.
