OTC payments decline for Post
Australia Post continues to experience a gentle decline in demand for in-person banking and bill payment services.Post's annual report, published yesterday, shows a five per cent decline in banking services, to 26 million transactions, over the year to June 2008.There was a three per cent decline in bill payment services, to 155 million transactions.Seventy-five banks use Post for retail banking transactions and 11 use Post for business banking transactions, an increase of two over the last year.
