Reynolds lift NZ$ issuance
In New Zealand domestic bond issuance is running at NZ$3.3 billion, compared with NZ$5.0 billion in the first half of 2009 and NZ$9.8 billion for the full year. International bond issuance, however, has already reached the equivalent of NZ$7.3 billion, compared with NZ$12.8 billion for all of 2009. Issuance was approximately NZ$5.8 billion in the first half of 2009.International issuance came entirely from New Zealand's banks in 2009, while in the first half of 2010 the banks have accounted for 80 per cent. The remainder is due to the Reynolds Group's US$1.0 billion, eight-year, bond issue.
