Strategy chief widens role at Westpac

Gary Thursby, head of strategy at Westpac, is to take on wider responsibilities. Thursby, a former CBA executive, will look after transformation and business services from October.Thursby will step into the shoes of John Arthur, the bank's chief operating officer who is to "retire from Westpac."Rebecca Lim will also join the group executive team. Lim has been the bank's group corporate counsel since 2011.
