Sydney Airport looks for a financial services partner
Sydney Airport is seeking expressions of interest from financial institutions to develop a wider "financial services offering" at the airport's international terminal. A key selling point is the "extended dwell time" that will give well-heeled but bored travellers time to work on their borrowing, investment and insurance needs."Customer lounges and premium services for prestige customers" are two ideas mentioned by airport management in a document circulated yesterday. Kerrie Mather, the airport's CEO, is a former Macquarie Capital director who managed Macquarie's investment in the airport.
