UNSW secures finance research centre
The centre for International Finance and Regulation will be based at the University of New South Wales, the Australian Financial Review reports.The UNSW bid edged out an alternative bid co-ordinated by Monash University.The centre's purpose is to specialise in research into financial markets and regulation.John Trowbridge, a former executive of the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority and Suncorp, will be the interim director.
