Veda buys boutique ratings agency
Veda says it will buy Corporate Scorecard, an independent provider of credit analysis. Corporate Scorecard holds a licence as a credit ratings agency that caters to wholesale investors.The sellers are the firm's founders, including the managing director, Graeme Gribben.Veda said, in a media release, that Corporate Scorecard will help increase its reach within the government sector and "other key verticals."Moses Samaha, the current general manager of Veda's commercial credit arm, will take over as chief of Corporate Scorecard.
