NAB group executive people and culture Susan Ferrier is leaving the bank at the end of October. She joined NAB in 2019 from KPMG, where she was global head of people. She will move into non-executive director roles and is already a director of the Financial Executives Institute of Australia and the Committee for Sydney. The bank is looking for a successor.

 

Research by open banking company Frollo found that 55 per cent of Australians have not heard of the Consumer Data Right or open banking. Twenty-seven per cent said they’d heard of it but didn’t know what it was, 12 per cent had a basic understanding and 6 per cent had a good understanding. Frollo said that once it was explained to them 32 per cent said it could be their preferred way to share financial data and make a mortgage application.
