Briefs: ANZ group executive departs, AMP Bank launches mortgage broker finance
ANZ’s group executive talent and culture and service centres, Kathryn van der Merwe, is leaving the bank to work at Telstra. van der Merwe spent six years at ANZ, initially as group executive talent and culture, before taking on responsibility for the offshore service centres. Richard Howell, tribe lead for transforming talent and culture, has been appointed interim group executive talent and culture, and Sreeram Iyer, chief operating officer institutional, will take over responsibility for the service centres on an acting basis.
AMP Bank has launched a loan customised for mortgage brokers. It said it will provide brokers with finance for business growth, mergers and acquisitions, equity buy-ins and investments. AMP Bank group executive Sean O’Malley said the bank has been working with leading aggregators to ensure the offer meets brokers’ needs.
