Briefs: Closing date for RBA review submissions looms, Mambu links with big cloud services
The Review of the Reserve Bank of Australia sent out a reminder yesterday that the closing date for submissions is October 31. The review panel released an issues paper in September, saying it would be looking at the role of the RBA board and its make-up, the inflation targeting framework, the tools at the RBA’s disposals to deal with crises, and the inputs that go into monetary policy decisions, particularly economic forecasts and economic and statistical models.
Banking software company Mambu announced that its banking platform is available through three leading cloud providers – Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure. Mambu Australia and New Zealand general manager Paul Apolony said the extended deployment would improve the performance, security and reliability of Mambu’s platform. Mambu’s local customers include Commonwealth Bank’s new digital home loan brand Unloan, Bluestone Mortgages, Tyro, Prospa and Lumi.
