  • Jason Murray has moved from NAB Private to take up the position of chief financial officer at Flexigroup. At NAB Private, he was customer executive and before that CFO at Sirius Minerals. He worked in investment banking for 18 years, including as head of capital markets at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Sydney. He replaces Ross Aucutt, who is leaving the company in October.

  • Nine months after Yellow Brick Road chief financial officer Richard Shaw announced his departure “for personal reasons”, the company has found a replacement. General manager operations, Stephen McKenzie, has moved into the role. McKenzie moved to YBR from Aussie Home Loans in 2018. At Aussie he was head of broker and customer services and deputy CFO.

  • The Reserve Bank of New Zealand says two appointments to senior leadership roles in its Money Group show the RBNZ's commitment to developing and preparing for the future of physical and electronic payments. Ian Woolford (a 30-year veteran at the Bank who led the work on the review of bank capital) has been appointed Head of Money and Cash, and Steve Gordon, currently head of the Banking Department, will head a new Payment Services Department.
