Briefs: Former ABC boss joins BNK board, Credit Corp appoints director

Michelle Guthrie, who was the managing director of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation between 2016 and 2018, has joined the board of BNK Banking Corp. Before working in media, Guthrie was an equity adviser at Providence Equity. Calvin Ng, the co-founder of Finsure, which merged with Goldfields Money to form BNK, has also joined the board.

 

Experienced banker Phillip Aris has joined the board of Credit Corp Group as a non-executive director. Aris’s CV includes head of credit cards at Commonwealth Bank and chief executive of CountPlus.
