Briefs: Loan broker sentenced, ANZ partners on disability housing project
Loan broker Trevor William King of New South Wales was sentenced to a 14-month intensive corrections order after Parramatta Local Court found he created 74 false documents to support 29 loan applications. The false documents included payslips, PAYG summaries and real estate documents. He earned a total of A$81,057 in commissions from the approved loans.
ANZ has partnered with real estate investment firm Jameson TTB to develop a disability housing project in Melbourne. The A$17 million project is scheduled to get underway this month. The housing will be available to National Disability Insurance Scheme participants under the NDIS specialist disability accommodation program.
