Briefs: NAB makes progress with staff accreditation program, Zepto appoints CTO
More than 13,000 NAB employees have completed the Career Qualified in Banking program the bank introduced in 2020. When NAB chief executive Ross McEwen introduced the program, he said the bank would work with FINSIA to design an accreditation course that would “go above and beyond the industry standard”. At the time, McEwan said the aims would be to improve the quality of service and set clear expectations for conduct. The bank’s plan is that all 30,000-plus employees will complete the course.
Payments company Zepto has appointed Rich Miller as its chief technology officer. Zepto specialises in enabling merchants to use the New Payments Platform and open banking. Miller’s CV includes four years as CTO at business lender Prospa.
