Briefs: New AFCA directors, Grow Finance rebrands
The Australian Financial Complaints Authority has appointed two new industry directors – Raylene Bellottie and Yien Hong. Bellottie’s work is in the area of Indigenous financial literacy and she has served at deputy chair of the First Nations Foundation for more than 10 years. She is a business coach at the Waalitji Foundation, which provides financial capability services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Before that she was national business development manager of First Nations accounts at CUA (now Great Southern Bank). Hong is general counsel and company secretary at Judo Bank. She has held senior roles at Deutsche Bank, NAB and Linklaters.
SME lender Grow Finance has changed its name to Dynamoney. The company’s co-founder and co-chief executive David Verschoor said the rebrand marked a step change in the business, which recently completed its first public securitisation and will launch a range of new products next year. It has recently announced partnerships with Mastercard and card processing business Pismo.
