Briefs: New RedZed CEO, Bank of Sydney restructures 15 August 2023 5:15AM Banking Day staff Briefs, Appointments, Bank of Sydney New Bank of Sydney CMO Maria Karavias Non-bank funder RedZed has appointed Calvin Cordle as its new CEO. He replaces the founder, Evan Dwyer, who will remain with the firm as an executive director. Cordle joins RedZed from NAB, where he was general manager of private banking. He previously worked for Barclays, before joining NAB in 2008. Bank of Sydney has restructured its management team, appointing Gary English to the newly created role of chief operating officer. Maria Karavias is the bank’s new chief marketing officer, while Stella Grilis takes on role of acting chief risk officer. The bank hired Melos Sulicich, formerly with MyState, as its new CEO in May. Bank of Sydney's ultimate parent is the Bank of Beirut.
