Briefs: Police Bank pitches to young savers, MogoPlus and TrueLayer in CDR partnership
Police Bank is making a pitch for young savers, offering a 2 per cent rate for members aged 18 to 29. Its new product, U30 Super Charge, comes with a debit card and is linked to a transaction account. It has no account keeping fees or minimum transaction requirements. To earn 2 per cent, account holders must have their salary paid into the account.
Data software company MogoPlus has teamed up with open banking company TrueLayer to develop financial data services using the Consumer Data Right. TrueLayer is a CDR accredited data recipient and MogoPlus is going through the accreditation process. TrueLayer will provide connectivity to customer data and MogoPlus said it will offer lenders “predictive data insights” for a range of credit products.
