Pollaers takes the chair at AFCA

Australian Financial Complaints Authority chair Helen Coonan is stepping down and will be replaced by former Pacific Brands and Fosters chief executive John Pollaers. He has a had a number of past and current government appointments, including chairing the Aged Care Workforce Strategy Taskforce, and membership of the Industry 4.0 Taskforce, the Australian Industry Skills Committee and the advisory board of the Aged Care Financing Authority. He is also the chancellor of Swinburne University.
