Comment: If I worked at the Reserve Bank of Australia or RBNZ I’d be asking for a 20 per cent pay rise.  If I worked at Bunnings I’d be striking for a 20 per cent pay rise.

If I were a bank investor I’d be expecting the payroll line to blow by 50 per cent in no time.  It is high time we pegged wages to inflation. I do not give a fig for inflation.  We can live with lots of it – with very high numbers for a very long time.  As for the colossal public debt, fund it any way you can.   Labor governments are here to invent new forms of money after all.  Go on, dear reader at the reserve banks, lodge your pay claim. Stay out until you get it.
