AFG float on the backburner 28 September 2007 4:46PM Ian Rogers Australian Finance Group confirmed to the Financial Review that the company would defer plans to list on the Australian Stock Exchange.The company told the newspaper it "would look favourably" on a listing, but only once "the market settles and we see some issues put away".AFG postponed its annual meeting, due this week, to later next month. The company also told the AFR that it recorded a pre-tax profit of $19.4 million in the year to June 2007.
