ASIC charges SA broker 30 September 2013 4:09PM Ian Rogers A South Australian mortgage broker faces five counts of providing false or misleading information to secure home loans from Westpac worth more than $500,000.On Friday, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission alleged Daniel Duy Anh Nguyen, of Woodville North, provided information relating to a sale contract and to rental appraisal letters in support of home loan applications on behalf of its five clients.ASIC alleged the conduct occurred between October 2011 and February 2012 when Mr Nguyen operated a finance broking business called Arndale Finance, at Woodville North.ASIC said Nguyen was the sole director and credit representative of Ausfin Solutions, an Australian credit licence holder. Ausfin traded as Arndale Finance.
