Bond issuance continues apace in New Zealand 27 October 2008 5:49PM Philip Bayley As flagged a couple of weeks ago, Auckland International Airport announced the sale of NZ$80 million of bonds last week and is now seeking oversubscriptions of NZ$50 million. The bonds, the first sold by the airport since November 2005, will pay an eight per cent coupon and will mature in November 2016. ANZ National announced a two tranche bond issue with June 2010 and June 2014 maturities to raise a total of NZ$100 million. The bonds are being offered to the retail market and will be listed on the New Zealand stock exchange. The prospectus will be out tomorrow.The Bank of New Zealand is also offering the retail market a NZ$50 million bond with a May 2015 maturity.
