The purpose of the MOU, the two said, was to "enable the RBA to fulfil its responsibilities and mandates, while ensuring the privacy of that information is appropriately protected." Westpac has extended the mobile contactless payment functionality of its mobile banking app to the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge handsets, according to ITWire. The system is already available to customers using Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5, S5 Mini, Galaxy Alpha, Note 3, Note 4 and Note Edge.
