Coles will launch a new flybuys program on Monday, upgrading the earn rate and adding more products that attract bonus points. The new base earn rate is one point per dollar.

Customers will be able to use the flybuys website to convert their points to "flybuys dollars", which they can use to pay for goods at Coles, Kmart, Target, Liquorland and Coles Express checkouts

Coles is also introducing an offer called my5, which allows shoppers to use their flybuys card to claim discounts. A 10 per cent discount can be claimed on five items if the customer spends more than $50.

Coles has partnered with Webjet to offer flybuys members an "any flight, any seat, any time" points redemption service.

Customers buying with a Coles MasterCard or NAB flybuys rewards card will earn extra points.
