Financial System Inquiry release date slips back? 27 November 2014 4:08PM Ian Rogers The release of the final report of the Financial System Inquiry may be slipping. Inquiry chair David Murray was scheduled to speak on Monday, 1 December at the Committee for Economic Development of Australia - leading to a widely held assumption the report would be out on that day. But the FSI secretariat advised yesterday that Murray will now speak a week later, at CEDA in Sydney on Monday, 8 December. In his presentation, titled, " FSI - Supporting Australia's Economic Growth", Murray is expected to explain to a lunchtime audience his 'blueprint' for the financial system over the next decade.
