Pay cuts for financial planners

Senior financial planners at banks can expect to earn less this year.

A survey, by recruitment consultants Robert Walters, shows 2015 income peaking at $140,000, which is $10,000 less than in 2014.

The survey puts the base pay rate the survey at $100,000, also $10,000 lower.

Incomes are rising modestly for junior planners, however.

Paraplanners are set to earn $20,000 than they could in 2014.
