The end for Absolute Capital 28 November 2007 4:35PM Ian Rogers Investment company Absolute Capital appointed McGrath Nicol as administrators yesterday. The administration applies only to the group entity and does not cover funds managed by Absolute such as the Yield Strategies Fund, which suspended redemptions by investors in late July.The Sydney Morning Herald reported that in its latest update in October, Absolute estimated the value of the fund had fallen by about 11 per cent in the three months to September 30, and had paid distributions to investors.Half the fund is made up of sub-investment grade collateralised loan and collateralised debt obligations according to the SMH.
