Transfield and Sonic get set in US
Reuters reported that Transfield Services priced a US$170 million placement in the US traditional (Reg D) private placement market. Transfield had met with potential investors a week earlier. The debt will be placed in three tranches with maturities of five, seven and ten years and was priced at 275 bps over US Treasuries.
According to Insto, Sonic Healthcare is lining up to be the next Australian issuer in the Reg D market. It is looking to raise US$250 million with the debt raising scheduled to close in January.
