AMP Bank introduces e-signatures

John Kavanagh

AMP Bank has introduced electronic signatures for home loan applications, among a range of banking upgrades announced yesterday.

It has also launched an enhanced digital identity verification process. It will no longer require that documents be verified in person.

Other changes include a digital pre-application form and a free report on the property they are interested in.

AMP Bank managing director said all borrowers would have the option of e-signing their loan contracts and, in some states, their mortgages.
