Briefs: Borrowing conditions tighten, NAB UK 'ahead' 10 July 2013 4:35PM Briefs, Borrowing conditions tightened moderately in June, National Australia Bank said in its monthly survey on measures of business confidence. NAB said the net borrowing index fell from zero points to minus three points in June. It said this outcome "entirely reflected a decline in the proportion of firms finding borrowing easier." NAB said the proportion of firms finding borrowing more difficult to obtain was unchanged. Overall, around one third of firms required borrowing in June, NAB said. National Australia Bank's restructuring in the UK is "ahead of schedule", Richard Gregory, the senior independent director of National Australia Group Europe, told the Yorkshire Post newspaper.
