Briefs: iCash to return capital, Homeloans adds 54 brokers

  • iCash Payments says it plans to return A$3.7 million in capital to shareholders. This represents about one quarter of the amount paid by Ezeatm to buy the Australian automatic teller machine fleet of iCash in January.
  • Fifty four franchisees of Refund Home Loans have signed on to new agreements with Homeloans Limited as independent brokers, The Adviser reports. Homeloans had made offers to 140 franchisees of Refund Home Loans. In May, Homeloans made a deal with Refund's administrators to buy certain assets of the failed franchise group, including its A$1.9 billion loan book.
