  • Banking and wealth management group MyState has appointed David Harradine as its new chief financial officer. Harradine will move from Deloitte, where he was a partner in risk services and financial advisory. He is also chairman of Centacare Australia, a provider of welfare services, and a director of Affordable Community Housing Alliance Tasmania.
  • Westpac and National Australia Bank improved their business banking customer satisfaction scores in 2014, but Commonwealth Bank's rating finished where it started and ANZ's took a tumble. According to DBM Consultants, Westpac has the most satisfied business banking customers, followed by CBA, NAB and ANZ. The market segment hardest to please was small business (turnover of A$1 million to $5 million), with all the big banks except Westpac losing ground with that sector.
