Cadooz fills epay sails

Euronet Worldwide's Australian arm epay is making its way once more, after many quarters of shrinking numbers.

Operating revenue in the third quarter of 2014 increased by two per cent over the September 2013 quarter.

The epay Australia and New Zealand growth in market share was supported by a one per cent rise in retailer locations to 295,000. Point of sale terminal numbers climbed five per cent to 667,000.

An increase in physical gift redemptions at voucher and "incentives" platform Cadooz this year is one feature of the recent lift in sales.

The company said it expected future revenue growth in the epay segment.

epay New Zealand and Australia provides prepaid products and engages in payments processing for prepaid mobile airtime top-up services. It offers electronic payment and cash collection solutions, including points of sale systems integration, a settlement and reporting service, and marketing and distribution service support.

The company's product portfolio includes prepaid mobile top-ups, prepaid debit cards, calling cards, e-wallets, gift cards, digital music and other content, lottery, bill payment and money transfer; and transport payment solutions, such as road tolls and public transport.
