Crazy Sales tied to card data breach
Online retailer Crazy Sales is the merchant tied to the data security breach that led to the replacement of thousands of credit cards late last month. Technology Spectator identified the merchant in a report on Friday.
"St George is doing an investigation… all I can say is that it's under investigation," David Yin, owner of Crazy Sales, told the IT news service.
Technology Spectator reported that Westpac (through its St George brand) was recently removed as the credit card provider listed on the Crazy Sales' website. Crazy Sales is currently only accepting payments by PayPal and BPay.
