MasterCard signs payment providers to MasterPass 21 August 2013 4:25PM John Kavanagh Consumer lending, MasterCard MasterCard has secured the agreement of 16 payment service providers to offer the MasterPass digital wallet service to their merchant customers.Yesterday, MasterCard announced that Commonwealth Bank, ANZ, IP Payments, Payment Express, Card Access Services, Paycorp and Merchant Warrior are among the payment providers that will integrate MasterPass into their services.MasterPass allows a consumer to enable any payment card for use in a mobile device or computer. The system has been the subject of trials in Australia since early this year.The agreement with the payment providers means that their merchant customers will be able to display a MasterPass button on their online shopping sites.
