National Australia Bank's two-week old payment processing problems remain unresolved, with talk circulating of the bank resorting to "manual processing" to work its way through the remnants of the original problematic batch file.
The bank's advice to customers is that "inconsistencies" remain. There was more evidence of these yesterday on social media networks as an unrelated processing glitch pushed Eftpos, ATMs, internet banking and the Hicaps medical payments system offline for an hour or so.
