Eveleigh, or Terry Gilliam's Brazil

Mirvac has completed the Commonwealth Bank of Australia's second new workplace at South Eveleigh in Sydney.

This will (or may) house 5500 CBA staff, including those working in the group's Innovation Labs.

The precinct, an extensive redevelopment of the former railway workshops site, is being spruiked by its developers as an "innovation and collaboration" campus for 18,000 workers.

Other technology-focused tenants include the CSIRO's Data61, "deep tech" incubator Cicada Innovations, and Mirvac’s own incubator and co-working company, Hoist.

The wider precinct, located just outside Sydney's CBD fringe, is expected to be completed later this year.
