Briefs: Custom Fleet to be sold to Canada's Elemental, ex-BOQ CIO joins GE 23 June 2015 3:28PM Banking Day staff Briefs, GE Capital's Australian fleet leasing and management business Custom Fleet will be sold to Canada's Elemental Financial Corp, according to the Australian Financial Review. GE is in the process of selling off much of its global financial services business. The AFR said the deal valued Custom Fleet at A$500 million. Former Bank of Queensland chief information officer, Julie Bale, is joining GE Capital Australia, where she will have the job of decoupling GE's Australian and New Zealand consumer finance systems from the wider group. The local consumer division was sold in March to a consortium including Deutsche Bank, KKR and Varde Partners. She will join GE in August, according to iTnews.
