McGee will stay in his role until the end of the year. NAB promoted McGee to chief technology officer in November last year and later made him CIO. Community First Credit Union says it has cut interest rates on two low-rate credit cards by 26 basis points, to 8.99 per cent, for all purchases, balance transfers and cash advances. John Tancevski, chief executive of Community First, said this is the first time the interest rate on a credit card in Australia has been below nine per cent since 2009.
