CBA fosters cloud standards 25 January 2013 5:09PM Ian Rogers CBA, IT systems, Major Banks Commonwealth Bank of Australia has joined the Open Data Centre Alliance as a new adopter member. The ODCA said Telstra had also joined.To date, National Australia Bank is the only Australian firm in the ODCA.The Open Data Centre Alliance is a global organisation that is working on standards which will help companies select and negotiate cloud computing arrangements. NAB has been trialling a security framework that might, ultimately, become part of ODCA's global suite of recommended cloud standards.
