ING star joins NAB UK 20 January 2015 4:22PM Ian Rogers A highly credentialled hand from Allied Irish Banks will fill the leadership void at NAB's Clydesdale Bank.David Duffy is to take the helm as chief executive at Clydesdale and National Australia Group Europe Limited. The appointment follows David Thorburn's decision to stand down after almost four years as Clydesdale Bank's CEO. NAB said it anticipated Duffy would be "in post within the next few months."Duffy joined Allied Irish Banks in December 2011 from Standard Bank International with responsibility for operations in the UK, Europe, Latin America and Asia. He was also previously head of global wholesale banking with ING Group and president and of the ING wholesale franchises in the United States and Latin America.
