Mint now a merchant acquirer 24 July 2013 4:19PM Ian Rogers Mint Wireless has entered a "wholesale merchant acquiring partnership" with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank to support the entry of the Sydney-based firm into the Australian market.A long-standing innovator in mobile payments, Mint has focused its sales effort offshore until recently.Mint offers a "chip and Pin" mobile solution aimed at small merchants which is also suitable for white-labelling by larger businesses.Mint said it will "earn a recurring margin from merchant services fees" under its arrangement with Bendigo. Mint will be free to set its own merchant service fees.Strategic Payments Services, an associate of Bendigo, will provide the payment gateway.
