Mobile banking a tenth of internet banking activity

More than ten per cent of all internet banking transactions at major banks are now handled through mobile applications, the Financial Review reports.

Westpac told the newspaper that the the ratio was more than 11 per cent and was more than 14 per cent over the summer holiday peak. Westpac said it had 485,000 users for its iPhone application.
