RBA manager pleads guilty to theft

A former facilities manager of the  Reserve Bank of Australia, Megha Mizerni, has pleaded guilty to one count of obtaining property by deception in the County Court of Victoria, The Age reported.

She swindled the bank for about A$600,000. The staffer was charged by after the RBA reported the loss.

Mizerni, who worked at the RBA's Melbourne office in Collins Street, was able to obtain the money by falsifying invoices for maintenance services over about an 18-month period, the newspaper reported.
